Methane Oxidation over the Zeolites-Based Catalysts

چکیده
Zeolites have ordered pore structures, good spatial constraints, and superior hydrothermal stability. In addition, the active metal elements inside outside zeolite framework provide porous material with adjustable acid–base property redox performance. Thus, zeolites-based catalysts are more widely used in chemical industries. Combining advantages of zeolites components, materials to catalyze oxidation methane produce various products, such as carbon dioxide, methanol, formaldehyde, formic acid, acetic etc. This multifunction, high selectivity, activity key factors that enable be for activation conversion. this review article, we briefly introduce discuss effect on C–H bonds reaction mechanisms complete selective oxidation. Pd/zeolite is dioxide water, Fe- Cu-zeolite partial The prospects challenges zeolite-based future research work practical applications also envisioned. We hope outcome can stimulate researchers develop effective or methane.

Catalytic Partial Oxidation of Methane over Fe2(MoO4)3 Catalysts
The study of new energy carriers for sustainable energy conversion processes is a hot research area. Among the potential energy carriers one finds biogas, containing a large fraction of methane, which attracts high interests worldwide. However, to be more useful, e.g., concerning storage and transportation, conversion of gaseous methane fuel into liquid fuel like methanol is desired. The conven...
متن کاملCatalytic Oxidation of Methane into Methanol over Copper-Exchanged Zeolites with Oxygen at Low Temperature
The direct catalytic conversion of methane to liquid oxygenated compounds, such as methanol or dimethyl ether, at low temperature using molecular oxygen is a grand challenge in C-H activation that has never been met with synthetic, heterogeneous catalysts. We report the first demonstration of direct, catalytic oxidation of methane into methanol with molecular oxygen over copper-exchanged zeolit...
متن کاملMethane partial oxidation in iron zeolites: theory versus experiment
The conversion of methane to methanol over zeolitic a-oxygen sites has been demonstrated using Fe-ZSM-5. To discriminate between monoand poly-nuclear active sites, we prepared the [Fe]-ZEO with iron in the ZEOlite lattice via direct synthesis and Fex-ZEO, by dispersion of x wt.% iron on the ZEOlite. Shape-selective formation of nano-clusters of iron oxides with various sizes is realized inside ...
متن کاملCu3(BTC)2: CO oxidation over MOF based catalysts.
Crystalline and amorphized MOFs (Cu(3)(BTC)(2)) have been demonstrated to be excellent catalysts for CO oxidation. The catalytic activity can be further improved by loading PdO(2) nanoparticles onto the amorphized Cu(3)(BTC)(2).
متن کاملSynthesis of single-site copper catalysts for methane partial oxidation.
Cu-Exchanged zeolites are known as active materials for methane oxidation to methanol. However, understanding of the formation of Cu active species during synthesis, dehydration and activation is fragmented and rudimentary. We show here how a synthesis protocol guided by insight in the ion exchange elementary steps leads to highly uniform Cu species in mordenite (MOR).
